Electrical Wiring 1 - covers the basics, concepts and introduction to the following:
Tools, Fasteners, Safety, Navigating the National Electrical Code, house plans and specifications, math, circuit theory, Electrical Symbols, Ohm's Law, boxes and box fill, outlet locations, general lighting, Conductor Types, Ampacity, Overcurrent Protection, Type NM Cables, Common Voltage, voltage drop, cable, conduit and tubing, conductor terminology, switches, receptacles, GFCI, AFCI, luminaires, ballasts and lamps, box fill and intro to series circuits, box sizing and series circuits, lighting and small appliance branch circuits, safety.
Students are required to demonstrate their skill in conduit bending and EWR homework.
